Qup
Welcome to Qup. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Qup.
1. What Qup is
Qup helps people find and create pickup games nearby (football, basketball, padel, tennis, volleyball, handball, running, cycling, and other group sports). Qup only connects players. We do not organize, host, supervise, or run any game.
2. Where you play: your choice, your responsibility
This is the most important part of these Terms.
- Qup does not own, check, inspect, or approve any location shown in the app.
- The person who creates a game chooses the place. Qup does not verify that the place is safe, legal, open, or suitable for sport.
- Only create or join games at recognized places, such as sports clubs, public or private sports fields, gyms, courts, or places that are well known for that sport.
- Do not create or join games in private homes, isolated areas, or places you do not know or trust.
- If a place looks unsafe when you arrive, leave. You never have to stay.
- Qup is not responsible for anything that happens at, on the way to, or on the way back from any game location.
3. Physical risk
Sport can cause injury. By joining a game, you accept the normal risks of physical activity. You confirm that you are fit to play, and you are responsible for your own health, equipment, and insurance. Qup is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or health problems.
4. Other users
Qup does not run background checks on users. We are not responsible for the behavior of other players, before, during, or after a game. Meet in public, recognized places, and use common sense. You can report or block any user in the app.
5. Who can use Qup
You must be at least 18 years old, or at least 16 with permission from a parent or guardian. Games set for minors must only take place at supervised, recognized sports places.
6. Your account
- Give true information and keep your password private.
- One account per person.
- You are responsible for everything done with your account.
7. Reliability score
Your profile shows a reliability score based on the games you join, attend, or miss. It is a guide for other players, not a judgment of you as a person. We may change how it is calculated.
8. Rules of behavior
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, insult, or discriminate against anyone.
- Create fake games or fake accounts.
- Use Qup to sell, advertise, or organize anything other than sport games without our permission.
- Share someone else's personal information without their consent.
- Break any law.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, with or without warning.
9. Payments
Qup is currently free. If a game creator asks players to share costs (for example, field rental), that is an arrangement between players. Qup is not part of it and is not responsible for any money exchanged.
10. Limitation of liability
Qup is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, Qup and its team are not responsible for any direct or indirect damage, loss, injury, or dispute that comes from using the app, attending a game, or dealing with other users.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. If the changes are important, we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Qup means you accept the new Terms.
12. Law
These Terms follow the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Marrakesh.
