Qup
This policy explains what data Qup collects, why, and your rights. Qup follows Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of personal data.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email or phone number, profile photo, age or date of birth.
- Location data: your approximate location, to show games near you. We only use it while you use the app, and only if you allow it.
- Game data: games you create or join, sport, level, date, attendance, and your reliability score.
- Technical data: device type, app version, and error reports.
2. Why we use it
- To show you games nearby and let you create or join games.
- To show your profile and reliability score to other players.
- To keep the app safe (for example, handling reports and blocking bad users).
- To improve the app and fix problems.
We do not sell your data.
3. What other users see
Other players can see your name, photo, sports, level, and reliability score. They see a game's location, but not your personal location.
4. Who we share data with
Only with services we need to run the app, such as hosting and Google Maps. We may also share data if the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Contact us at qupadmin@gmail.com. You can also contact Morocco's data protection authority, the CNDP.
7. Children
Qup is not meant for children under 16. If we learn that a child used Qup without permission, we will delete their account.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no system is 100% safe.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will tell you in the app if changes are important.
